Newsletter 13th September 2020

Dear Parishioners,

I leave you on Wednesday this coming week. May I simply say: thank you for having me in your parish as your priest. It is almost exactly 5 years since I arrived to succeed Fr Anthony. I have felt very much at home here and settled. Thank for all your support, help, encouragement, friendship and above all prayers. It is a strange time to move being unable to say goodbye in the way we might wish. However, I am sure our Lord will draw good things from the difficulties of this time. I leave with very many happy memories as well as sadly things not done. My prayers for each of you. Fr Antony is offering Mass at 9.30am on Sunday for all of us. I am sure we will meet up at various times.

I leave on Wednesday. Fr Kevin will arrive sometime on Thursday. So sadly, there will be no mass that day. Fr Kevin’s First public Mass will be Sat pm. I wish him as much happiness as I have had.

Funeral John Fisher

Sadly, John Fisher died on Wednesday last. Our condolences to Suzie Kopliku and all the family. May he rest in peace. His funeral Mass will be on Tuesday 15 September at Midday. As it is a funeral, by law the numbers are limited to 30. There are a few spare places so if you want to come just let me know.
