Dear Parishioners

Further to last week’s newsletter, Father Kevin has now returned to Manchester for treatment. We do pray that Father receives the very best medical treatment in Manchester and gets well soon with the support of his family and grandchildren close by. 

In the meantime, please pray that as a Parish full of love and support for one another, we can continue to keep our Church doors open.  

We have received some wonderful news; the Nottingham Diocesan Catholic Youth Service (NDCYS) has been working on a way to allow candidates to be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in a COVID secure way. They have developed a new course that will be delivered safely and securely online by NDCYS and your team of catechists at St Mary’s. If your child was supposed to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2020 – please check your email for further information. Further information can also be found on our parish website this coming week.
